Clynelish – 2015-2026 11 Year Old North Star Spirits Series 28 (70cl, 53.6%)

This is an 11 year old Clynelish, a Highland single malt distilled in January 2015 and bottled in July 2026 by North Star Spirits. It is Series 28, released to mark the independent bottler's 10th anniversary, and comes in a 70cl bottle at 53.6% ABV. The whisky was matured in two refill hogsheads and bottled with natural colour and without chill filtration. The release is limited to 685 bottles. Clynelish is known for a waxy spirit, and that shows on the palate. The nose offers spicy peach jam on a warm croissant, the palate is oily and waxy with creamy honeydew melon, and the finish brings caramelised lemon slices and toffee apples.
