A single cask Clynelish distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 by Chorlton Whisky after 10 years in a first fill hogshead. It comes from the Highlands at a natural cask strength of 59%, in a 70cl bottle, with 317 bottles drawn from the cask. It has no added colour and no chill filtration.
Clynelish is known for a waxy, coastal character. Here the nose is described as beeswax, lemon peel and green apple, with salt air and a gentle herbal edge. The palate is textured and mouth-coating, with citrus oils, ripe pear and subtle spice. The finish is long and clean, with pepper, oak and coastal freshness.
