Clynelish 30 Year Old is a single malt released by Milroy's of Soho to mark its 60th anniversary. It was distilled on 24 November 1993 and bottled on 6 December 2023 at its natural cask strength of 45.3%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is a vatting of two refill bourbon barrels, numbers 12929 and 11322. One was chosen for its classic, heavy waxiness and the other for its vibrant, lifted fruitiness.
Fresh orchard fruits, soft candle wax, pollen, honey and vanilla run through the nose and palate, and the finish has a gentle, mature oak bitterness.
