Clynelish – Select Reserve 2015 (Diageo Special Releases) (70cl, 56.1%)

Clynelish Select Reserve is a single malt from the Diageo Special Releases range, bottled in 2015 at 56.1% in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 2,946 bottles. The nose is perfumed, with scorched grass, vanilla fudge and freshly peeled orange, then lime, pink grapefruit, mango and passion fruit. On the palate there is waxiness with toffee, peach, orange candy and honey, along with light peat and a briny, salty edge. The finish is long and creamy, with chocolate-coated orange candy, ginger, pepper and menthol, and malt and sea notes at the end.
