Clynelish Select Reserve 2015 Release 2nd Edition is a limited Highland single malt, bottled at natural cask strength of 56.1% without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery's blending team put it together from American oak and European oak refill casks, chosen to bring out the waxy, coastal house style of Clynelish.
The nose offers honeycomb, beeswax, soft peat smoke, orchard fruit and a salty edge. The palate is creamy and full-bodied, with orange marmalade, vanilla fudge and ginger, and the finish is long and warming, with oak spice, dried apricot and a touch of brine.
