A Sangiovese Rubicone IGT from Colle del Gelso. In the glass it is bright, youthful ruby. The aromas recall cherry and red fruit, with slightly floral nuances and a hint of Mediterranean spice. The sip is savoury and supported by lively acidity, with tannins present but well integrated, giving a clean texture and immediate drinkability. The finish is pleasant without being austere. It suits gnocchi with ragù, tomato sauces, grilled meats and semi-aged cheeses, and is best served around 16-18 C.
