Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye is a small batch, bottled-in-bond straight rye whiskey at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV.
It pays tribute to Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., the former distillery owner, who was making rye whiskey more than 100 years ago. The bottling is meant to recall the rye of days long past, at a time when the style is enjoying a strong resurgence in American whiskey.
