Affinity is a limited edition from Compass Box, described as the first blend of Calvados and Scotch whisky. The Calvados comes from Christian Drouin and is combined with malt whisky from Craigellachie, which spent a year in a first fill sherry butt.
Previously blended malts from Clynelish, Dailuaine and Teaninich complete the recipe. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The flavour centres on apple, set alongside malt, vanilla and spice, and the finish is very long.
