Compass Box Glasgow Blend (43%)

Glasgow Blend is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 43% ABV. It has a high proportion of single malt, including malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks and a heavily peated Islay single malt. The label shows Glasgow's Wellington statue wearing its traditional traffic cone, a nod to the city's humour. The name also recalls a 1930s book by Aeneas MacDonald, which says Glaswegians preferred fuller, more flavourful whiskies. On the palate it is full, rich and smoky, with sticky toffee pudding, sherry character and hints of a coal fire.
