Menagerie is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, built on chocolatey, meaty malt from Mortlach. Citrusy, earthy whisky from Deanston is added, while malts from Glen Elgin bring musky tropical fruit and Laphroaig adds tarry smoke.
The Highland malt blend is aged for a number of years in custom French oak barrels, which lend a brooding spiciness.
It is described as having gentle notes of spiced honey, toffee and roasted peach.
