Compass Box This is a 10 Year Old Whisky (70cl, 50.5%)

This is a 10-Year-Old Whisky is a blended malt from Compass Box, bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle. Every component is ten years old and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. Clynelish makes up 66.5% of the recipe, with unpeated and peated single malt from Ardnamurchan making up the rest. It is bottled without added colour and without chill-filtration, in an edition of 3,610 bottles. The nose offers lilac, ripe apples, pears and quince over vanilla and rich caramel. The palate brings creamy toffee and vanilla cream with ripe fruit, and a restrained maritime smoke gives a dry contrast. The finish is long and smooth, with golden honey, vanilla and pronounced beeswax.
