Connemara Cask Strength (70cl, 57.9%)

Connemara Cask Strength is a peated Irish single malt made at the Cooley distillery and bottled at its natural strength of 57.9% vol, in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings expressive peat smoke with vegetal notes, malted grain, citrus and fresh fruit, turning herbal and slightly minty with air. On the palate it is powerful and warming, with peat, malt, green apple, pear and peppery spice, and a subtle fruity sweetness balancing the smoke. The finish is long, smoky and spicy, with a vegetal touch.
