Connemara Peated (70cl, 40%)

Connemara Peated is an Irish single malt whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% abv. It is made with barley dried over peat fires, a method inspired by the 18th century practice of drying malting barley this way. The peat gives it a distinct flavour and aroma, with a delicate smokiness. It has received more than 20 medals in major spirits competitions since 2012. It is described as smooth and sweet, with peat and malt flavours running together.
