Cooper's Choice Tomatin Calvados Cask Finish is a Highland single malt from Tomatin, bottled at 50% ABV by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for its Cooper's Choice series. It was finished in Calvados casks, which give a fresh, fruity character with a clear apple influence. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is green apple and pear with honey, vanilla and a light spiciness. The palate is soft and fruity, with apple, sweet malt, light caramel and subtle spice. The finish is medium in length and refreshing, with lingering fruit, light spice and gentle wood.
