Copper Fox Peachwood American Single Malt Whisky

Copper Fox Peachwood is an American single malt in which peachwood is used twice: as the smoking medium when the malt is kiln dried, and inside the barrels during maturation. It adds fruity, floral notes to the distillery's single malt. The colour is auburn, like tarnished copper. The nose offers ripe stone fruit, sweet smoke with a campfire ash note, and cinnamon pastry. The palate is medium to full in body and slightly drying, sweet yet earthy, with a syrupy texture. Marzipan, clove and orange zest sit over a subtle, salty smokiness. The finish is medium-long, with dried fruit, raw honey and toasted oak.
