Cragganmore Distillers Edition is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is given a second maturation, which for Cragganmore means a finish in deeply seasoned Port casks.
The finish adds dark fruit and spice to the distillery's malty sweetness.
The nose has malty sweetness and heather honey, with ripe plums, dark berries and a hint of chocolate. The palate is velvety, with dried fruit, fig, gentle spice, light smokiness and a nutty note. The finish is long and warming, with fruitcake, oak and a whisper of peat.
