This is a 13 year old Speyside single malt from Craigellachie, in a 70cl bottle at 46% vol. It is one of the distillery's first standard bottlings.
The spirit is cooled in curved copper worm tubs. The whisky matured in fresh oak casks and was finished in ex-sherry casks. The colour is dark gold.
The nose brings citrus fruit, sweet caramel, cloves and toasted oak. The palate is dry and soft, with sweet caramel, fresh citrus, dried fruit and a little smoke. The finish is long and harmonious.
