A straight rye whiskey made from 100% Rymin rye, grown on the estate and distilled, aged and bottled at Kentucky Artisan Distillery in Crestwood, Kentucky. It is a bottled in bond release for Cream of Kentucky, limited to 70 barrels.
The nose combines spearmint, cinnamon and brown sugar with black pepper, cayenne, floral hints, raisins, plum and a little pipe tobacco. Cinnamon and black pepper lead the palate, with a touch of anise. The finish is mellow and of medium length.
