Jefferson's Rye Whiskey (75cl, 44%)

Jefferson's Rye Whiskey is a blended American rye, bottled at 44% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made at Kentucky Artisan Distillery from rye whiskeys of three ages: 6, 7 and 9 years old. Master Blender Ale Ochoa oversees the blend, which sets bold rye spice against softer fruit, floral and herbal notes. It also draws on influence from the Jefferson's Ocean Rye programme. The nose opens with pronounced rye spice, dried fig, delicate florals and toasted vanilla. On the palate it is clean and grain-forward, with rye pepper and baking spices, then ripe cherry and cooling mint. The finish is warm and bold, with lingering rye spice and a trace of dried fruit.
