Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs Brut Jaffelin

A sparkling wine from Burgundy made from Chardonnay by Jaffelin, founded in 1816. It is made by the traditional method of second fermentation in bottle, the same method used for Champagne, and is aged on the lees. It shows a pale straw colour with fine bubbles. The nose brings white flowers, green apple, citrus and subtle toasted bread and yeast notes. On the palate it is vibrant and well balanced, with persistent freshness, delicate creaminess and a clean, refreshing finish. It suits an aperitif and light starters or delicate fish dishes.
