Crown Royal Golden Apple is a flavoured blended Canadian whisky made at the Gimli distillery in Manitoba. It combines whiskies aged for at least 23 years in wooden barrels with Golden Delicious apple flavour, and is bottled at 40% (80 proof) in a 75cl size.
It comes in a gold crown shaped decanter, with a suede Crown Royal bag and a collector's box.
Deep gold in colour, the nose offers fresh green apple and caramel with light oak and gentle baking spice. The palate is smooth and creamy, with baked golden apple, vanilla, toasted oak, raw cane sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is warm and lingering, with caramel, maple and soft spice.
