Cucunci Nerello Mascalese Vino Spumante Brut Rosé is a sparkling rosé from Barone Montalto, made from Nerello Mascalese. It has a delicate salmon-pink colour and fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers small red fruits such as wild strawberry, raspberry and cherry, with floral notes and bread crust from ageing on the lees. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with balanced acidity and creamy bubbles, and a long, harmonious finish with red fruit and a light mineral aftertaste. It suits aperitifs and light fish, shellfish, sushi, fresh cheeses and summer salads.
