Cutty Sark Original (70cl, 40%)

Cutty Sark Original is a blended Scotch whisky made from malt and grain whiskies, with the malts coming mainly from Speyside. It matures in American oak casks and in ex-sherry casks that are being used for whisky for the first time. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Berry Bros. & Rudd created it in London in 1923 as a lighter blended whisky, and the tea clipper gave it both its name and its label. The brand has belonged to La Martiniquaise-Bardinet since the end of 2018. The malts are married for 21 days. Vanilla, citrus and floral notes are typical, with a fresh nose, a lively palate and a soft, lively finish.
