Cutwater Black Skimmer is a blended straight bourbon from Cutwater Spirits of San Diego, California, in a 75cl bottle. Yuseff Cherney and the Cutwater team selected and blended the straight whiskeys, working with some of the brand's favourite distillers. The name comes from the seabird that inspires the Cutwater brand identity.
On the nose there is honey, almond and warm spice. The palate is smooth, with honey sweetness, almond, black pepper and a hint of clove, followed by a warm, medium finish with lingering honey and spice.
