D'USSÉ XO Cognac

D'USSÉ XO is a Cognac from France, matured for longer than the house's younger expressions. It comes in the brand's black decanter marked with the Cross of Lorraine. The extended maturation of the eaux-de-vie gives a layered character built around ripe fruit, dark berries, dried fig, caramel, warm spice, toasted oak and cocoa. The nose offers ripe blackberry, dried fruit, fig, caramel and cinnamon with seasoned oak. The palate is rich and rounded, with dark fruit, caramelised sugar, cocoa, toasted nuts and baking spices. The finish is long and warming, with fruit, spice, cocoa and oak.
