Daftmill Winter Release 2012 is a Lowland single malt distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2026 at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of first-fill sherry hogsheads and bourbon barrels, in an edition of 3475 bottles.
It is described as textured and elegant, with Christmas cake, dried fruit, winter spices, sweet barley, shortbread, vanilla and orchard fruit. The style is broader than that of a Daftmill with a heavy bourbon influence.
