Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in a selection of sherry casks, among them Apostoles, Amoroso and Matusalem Oloroso casks from González Byass in Jerez.
On the palate it is full-bodied, with dried figs, raisins and candied orange peel, then dark chocolate, roasted coffee, toffee and sweet spice, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and polished oak. The finish is long, velvety and warming, with lingering sherry sweetness and rich oak.
