Dalmore – 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select (43%)

Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt bottled at 43% ABV. The spirit is matured first in American white oak and ex-Bourbon casks, then finished in a mix of Oloroso sherry casks and sweeter Pedro Ximénez casks, which balance nutty character with sweetness. The nose offers caramelised orange, ginger and sultanas with honey. On the palate there is dark chocolate with crushed almonds and a dusting of cinnamon. The finish is sweet mango with notes of panna cotta and lemon sponge.
