Dalmore 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt with a triple sherry cask finish, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
After twelve years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is divided into three parcels. Each spends a further three years in a different sherry cask from the González Byass bodega in Jerez: Amoroso, Apostoles and 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso. The parcels are then reunited and married in a sherry butt before bottling.
Tasting notes list dark fruit, orange marmalade, milk chocolate, warming spice and espresso, with a silken texture and a lingering finish.
