Dalmore 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Alness, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in three styles of sherry cask: Apostoles, Amoroso and Matusalem Oloroso.
The nose is rich orange marmalade with cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate shows mandarin zest, soft vanilla, gentle ginger spice and crushed apples. The finish is long, with caramelised orange sweetness fading into dark chocolate.
