Dalmore 18 Year Old (2022 Edition)

Dalmore 18 Year Old (2022 Edition) is an annual limited release from The Dalmore. The whisky was matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks aged 30 years, supplied to the distillery by the González Byass bodega in Spain. The finishing casks rest in the cold, damp dunnage warehouses at the distillery, which adds a deep chocolate richness over the bourbon-cask base. The nose is vanilla, dark chocolate, English marmalade and sweet liquorice. On the palate come chocolate raisins, citrus fruits, coffee, nutmeg and spice, and the finish is stewed fruits and toffee.
