Dalmore 18 Year Old in its 2023 edition is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Alness, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in aged Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks.
On the nose it shows soft vanilla and dark chocolate with orange zest and cinnamon. The palate brings dark chocolate, candied citrus and roasted coffee, with nutmeg and gentle liquorice. The finish is long, with citrus, treacle and molasses sweetness.
