Dalmore 18 Year Old 2023 Edition is an annual release of Highland single malt, matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in aged Matusalem oloroso sherry casks.
The sherry influence adds richness and warmth to the whisky's depth.
The nose offers dark chocolate orange, vanilla and sweet spice. On the palate come candied citrus, rich chocolate, coffee and subtle liquorice, followed by a long finish with a citrusy molasses sweetness.
