This is an 18 year old Dalmore from 2003, a Highland single malt released by the distillery in 2022 at 46.9%. It is a small batch limited edition, one of a pair in that year's Vintage Collection.
The whisky began in ex-bourbon casks. It was then finished in a combination of casks that previously held Amoroso and Matusalem sherry, small batch bourbon and the French dessert wine Rivesaltes.
The 2022 Vintage Collection followed the theme of warm honey spice.
