A Highland single malt from Dalmore, distilled in 1990 and bottled at 22 years old as part of the First Cask series. It is gold in colour.
The nose opens with vanilla cake and brioche, then toast, praline, barley water, milk chocolate and softer orange, with orange blossom, aniseed and a little smoke behind. With water it moves towards fruit salad, with lychee and rose.
On the palate there is vanilla and cinnamon, milk and white chocolate, oranges, tangerines and Turkish delight, with touches of banana and coconut. The finish is medium long and tropical, with banana, orange and a dash of white pepper.
