Dalmore – 30 Year Old Pre 1950s

This is a 30 year old Highland single malt from Dalmore, bottled by Duncan Macbeth Co. Ltd before the 1950s. The whisky dates from before the Second World War. Old bottlings of this kind typically show richly fruited sherry, Dundee cake and green fruits, alongside metallic phenols and earthy, rooty peat oils. Rancio, old leather, pipe tobacco, dark chocolate and aged dessert wines are also commonly found in the glass.
