Dalmore – 35 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

This is a 35 year old Highland single malt from Dalmore, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is built from three casks: a Bourbon barrel, a 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso sherry butt and a 1970 vintage Port Colheita pipe. It comes in a crystal decanter made by Baccarat, fitted with Dalmore's 12-point Royal Stag, crafted by the Scottish silversmiths Hamilton & Inches. The nose offers crushed almonds, coffee mousse, soft liquorice and gingerbread. On the palate come dark treacle cake, banana bread and freshly ground coffee, leading to roasted chestnuts, raisins and intense orange peel in the finish.
