Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a Highland single malt matured first in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak, then finished in tawny port casks from Portugal. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered, with colour added.
The nose offers red berries, plums and orange marmalade with vanilla, toffee and light oak. The palate is soft and full, with dark fruit, spice and creamy vanilla, and a little chocolate.
The finish is long, with port fruit, spice and oak.
