Dalmore – Quintessence Single Malt (45%)

Dalmore Quintessence is a Highland single malt bottled at 45%, matured in five different red wine casks. Master distiller Richard Paterson travelled to California to choose them himself: zinfandel, pinot noir, syrah, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. Each cask type adds its own character to the final malt, and the expression is a limited edition. The nose is of wild berries, marmalade and honey. Tropical fruit, ginger and sun-dried raisins come through on the palate, and the finish brings blackcurrant, orange and freshly baked banana.
