The Quintet is a Highland single malt from Dalmore, bottled at 44.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has added colour.
Its character comes from a five-cask finish, which combines different woods and cask types to build the flavour.
The nose brings ripe orange and citrus fruit, dates, raisins and candied berries, with toffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, spice and light oak behind. The palate is full and layered, with fruity sweetness alongside spice, fine wood and soft oak, and a gentle toffee note. The finish is long and warm, balancing fruit, spice and wood.
