Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, which at 1164 feet above sea level is the highest in Scotland.
The site was chosen for its clear spring water and the peat of the surrounding bogs. The distillery's whisky is known for gentle flavours of heather honey, citrus, vanilla and sweet malt.
This bottling is malty, with walnuts steeped in manuka honey and vanilla sponge. Gentle smoke runs through the cereal, with a touch of spice.
