This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Dalwhinnie, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The label calls it The Gentle Spirit.
The distillery's style comes from a long fermentation, clear wort, very lightly peated barley and worm tubs. The whisky has a rich golden colour.
The nose offers heather honey, malted barley and a hint of cut herbs. The palate is mellow, with toffee, vanilla and orchard fruits, and the finish is long and warming with gentle spice and oak.
