Gl. Dansk Mjød is a Nordic mead, a honey wine made with a touch of ginger and based on a recipe from around 1700. It is made from water, honey, hops and brewer's yeast, with no additives.
It is sweet and semi-dry, slightly spicy and aromatic, with a character reminiscent of sherry. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
