De Leyenda San Luis Potosí Mezcal (70cl)

De Leyenda San Luis Potosí is a mezcal from San Luis Potosí in Mexico, made only from wild Salmiana agave that grows in the dry country of the region. The plants are cooked in wood-fired conical stone ovens, which gives the spirit its smoky character. It is clear in the glass. The nose shows aromatic herbs and a little pepper over a gentle smokiness. The palate is smooth and well balanced, with clear agave notes and a slightly sweet, wild-honey aftertaste, ending long and mildly peppery. It suits sipping neat or mixing in cocktails.
