This is a single cask bottling from De Verloren Whisky, bottled at 47.3% ABV. It matured in a PX cask that had previously held PX from 1981. The cask then travelled for seven months to the tropics and back aboard the sailing yacht Thalassa, a journey that shaped the whisky during its maturation. It is described as a complex whisky with a very rich sherry flavour.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
