Deanston – 10 Years Old Bordeaux Cask (70cl)

This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Deanston, released as a limited edition in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Bordeaux red wine casks. It is then married with a stronger single malt that spent all ten years in Bordeaux red wine casks, so the wine's influence runs through the whole bottling. It is described as smooth and sweet, with warm notes and honey, and with rich grape and bitter chocolate flavours.
