This is an 18 year old Highland single malt from Deanston, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
It was matured entirely in ex-bourbon barrels of American white oak, which allow the waxy character of the Deanston spirit to show. That character comes from a very long fermentation and slow distillation.
On the palate there are sweet barley sugar, vanilla and crisp apple, with a smooth mouthfeel.
