Deanston Virgin Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in new oak casks. It is bottled at 46.3% and is not chill-filtered.
The new oak gives it a pronounced aromatic character. On the nose it shows vanilla, caramel and coconut with a touch of spice.
The palate is full in texture, with toffee, honey and nuts, along with a woody, lightly peppery note. The finish is warm and lingering.
