Deutz Brut Classic is a non-vintage Brut Champagne from the house of Deutz in Aÿ. It is a blend of 38% Pinot Noir, 32% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay, made by the traditional method with a second fermentation in bottle.
The house uses only the first pressing and a high share of reserve wines, aged on the lees before blending.
The nose shows hawthorn blossom, white flowers, toast and marzipan, with ripe apple and pear. The palate is fresh and citrussy, broadening into an elegant, full structure. The finish is round and fruity, with fine bubbles and a toasty note.
