Dingle Samhain is a single malt released in 2022 as part of the distillery's Wheel of the Year series. It is bottled at 50.5%, and only 10,000 bottles were made.
The whisky was first matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then given a further two years in Muscatel wine casks.
The nose combines honey, floral notes, Muscatel grape, soft wood and ripe stone fruit. The palate brings sweet Muscat, apricot, vanilla, warm spices, toffee and a hint of citrus. The finish is long and warm, balancing fruit, spice and sweet wine character.
